2 words...If only there were more people in this world like Charlie...Also. Great food. Great atmosphere. And solid specials. Get the cheese curds wherever they are available. The wings are top 3 as well. Also, if Charlie IS off by chance when you go in, don't worry...you'll still want to come back, because a Charlie experience is totally worth it.

I can't believe it took so long to try this place! Food was good priced and tasted even better. Good service. Since we eat low carb, they put our burgers on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes. Can't wait to try other items on the menu. We will be back.

First time here. Had a great time. BartenderJeremy was friendly and talkative . Good conversation with people that were local and good beer. Nashville wings were phenomenal. Will definitely come back again.

Went for breakfast after church. Out of this world Caribbean French toast! Coffee cocktail menu really intriguing. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Owner Brian is super cool as are Chef's Tony & Chris. We will definitely recommend to others, and will be back ourselves!!!

Food and service awful. Obviously they have a microwave in that kitchen (and a cook who doesn't know how to use it). Waitress was stressed out in spite of they're being only 2 tables eating.

The good. Our dinner was good. My wife liked her crab cake sandwich and my prime rib sandwich was pretty good. The bad. The beers were small and expensive and they only had one server so service was slow. She was pleasant and doing her best. There was hair metal playing and the air conditioning felt like it was set at 80 degrees. I don't know the management but they missed the boat last night. These are things that could be easily fixed if the owners wanted to do so.

Good food good place

Great fun, little low key no frills place to get a drink in Berlin. Avoid the fuss and fanciness of The Globe or Atlantic Hotel, but still has great food, rotating specials, decent beer selection. Bartenders have personality, theme nights, karaoke on Thursdays is always a hoot. During the off season the week nights can be very slow. Weekends generally always have a good crowd. Great touchtones jukebox, dart board is fun, and popcorn machine makes tasty movie theatre style popcorn. 2 unisex bathrooms ensure that you rarely have to wait. Kitchen is open fairly late. Always a great place to finish the night up at.

This is a great local place with a great atmosphere and staff. They have karaoke on Thursdays and it is always a fun time.

A true hidden gem in the hart of Berlin. Has a real always glad you came everyone knows your name atmosphere. The food is wonderful and the service was fantastic. Do yourself a favor and stop in for a beer or something to eat you will surly enjoy your experience.

In our travels we try not to stop at the usual highway stops. Aka, Applebees, McDonalds, Chili's etc. I use Yelp to help us find the local places, Mom and Pop kind of places. The Burley Inn was exactly the kind of place we look for. A place to wet your whistle and have grab a bite to eat. Charlie, our server, was the friendliest most outgoing and funny person who made our visit worth it before we even ordered. All the food in house is fresh and dressings are home made. I constantly look for a good chicken wing. Thier Nashville hot wings are the wings to order. A great dry rub served with bread and butter pickles with onions. Omg, yum. Salt and vinegar wings I rarely come across, and those were just as good. Crispy just the way I like them. In the mood for cheesesteak? Yup, still the place to go. I highly suggest you stop in.

It's a pretty typical local bar. Decent food, regular and some craft beers. They usually have sports on and bands on the weekend. Good place.

Really good food, service was a little slow

Excellent food and service. We stopped for a light lunch and very much enjoyed it. First we got the crab and corn chowder with jumbo lump crab, which there was tons of it! Really yummy! We got sandwiches too. The turkey Reuben was made with shaved turkey, not the bad lunch meat turkey. It was great. My sister had the grilled buffalo chicken wrap and it was excellent too. The chicken was tender and the buffalo sauce was great she said. The ranch dressing was house made, which is an awesome added touch. The waitress said everything from the fries to the chips to the dressing is made in house. She also nothing is frozen. We will return!

Burger was good, fries were soggy, bartender was good. This place does not appear to be related to Burley Oak at all. Decent dive/locals bar. Weird mix of a family having dinner and guys so drunk they could barely stand on a Saturday night.

Excellent little hole in the way bar/restaurant. Very unassuming from the outside but the inside is a nice decor and open space. Food was delicious.
